Mind in Barnet

What we do
Campaigns

Ourcampaigns helps improve the lives of people with mental health problems, working for better services, legal rights, and for a more accepting attitude among employers, and advising Government, health and local authorities and the public on best practice, services and developments in mental health community care. Mind's policies are always developed in consultation with Mind link, Diverse Minds, Rural minds and other networks.
In all our campaigning work we seek to empower those who use mental health services, making sure that those directly affected have their voices heard. Mental health users can become members of Mind in Action and receive information about how to respond to Government consultations and lobby their MP.

Our current campaign focuses on the Government's review of the Mental Health Act. Mind is working with other mental health organisations to ensure that the new Act gives people sufficient rights and protections.
